Getting Around Aspen
Aspen is a very pedestrian friendly town and unless you are driving into town, you will most likely not need a car for the weekend. All the wedding events will be within walking distance from most Aspen hotels.. Many hotels provide complimentary airport transfers and transportation within Aspen. The free and efficient RFTA public bus system services Aspen and the surrounding areas. The Downtowner free shuttle (APP) and WeCycle free bikes (APP) are also available for transportation around town. Uber and Lyft are available but sometimes limited during peak hours.

How do we get to the wedding on Aspen Mountain?
Easy! You simply board the Aspen Mountain/Silver Queen Gondola located next to The Little Nell hotel at 5:30 pm sharp.
Enjoy the 15 minute scenic gondola ride to the top of Aspen Mountain at 11,212' in elevation. Beverages will be available for the ride as you board. You will be directed to the Wedding Deck when you step off the Gondola. The Aspen Mountain Club and Sundeck Restaurant where the Reception will be held, are located right next to the Wedding Deck. The Gondola will be running all evening until Midnight for downloading.
What is the dress code?
Wedding - Formal Summer Wedding Attire (lightweight fabrics recommended). Aspen evenings can be cool, so bring a light jacket or wrap.
Brunch - Resort Casual Attire
Are kids allowed to join for the wedding ceremony and reception?
Yes kids are welcome if they are included on your wedding invitation

What is the best way to be prepared for the altitude and weather in Aspen?
High Altitude Tips
Aspen sits at 7,900 feet above sea level, and the Wedding Deck is even higher—at 11,212 feet.
Temperatures range from highs in the 80 degrees to lows in the 40 degrees, so always bring extra layers of clothing.
Please take care of yourself as your body adjusts:

Hydrate well before and after arrival (carry a water bottle)
•
Take it easy the first day—avoid overexertion
•
Eat light meals and get plenty of rest
•
Limit alcohol, especially on your first night
•
Pack lip balm and sunscreen—the sun is stronger at altitude
If you feel lightheaded or short of breath, let someone know and take a break in the shade. Most people adjust quickly, but it’s best to be prepared.

Aspen Mountain's EMT's are stationed at the top of the mountain all evening during the wedding with oxygen available should it be needed.
